Travel on New Zealand's largest transport network. InterCity Coachlines offer over 120 services nationwide to more than 600 towns, cities and communities with multiple daily departures to main centres around the country.

Flexibility.

Travelling to a set itinerary needn't mean you are tied down to a set time schedule. Our multiple daily departures nationwide mean you can stay and play or leave in a hurry. You also have all the flexibility to jump on and off any pass, when and wherever you please en-route, including those little towns in between that we may not feature on our maps. As a kiwi owned and operated company we are proud of the clean green image New Zealand is renowned for - so in a bid to preserve our country,  we operate a modern fleet of environmentally friendly, low emission vehicles, specifically designed for New Zealand conditions.

Take your time.

Passes are valid for 12 months from the date of activation, so you’ve got plenty of time to stop whenever you like.

Well, just about anyone and everyone! Our network is the way over 1 million kiwis travel around so you’ll meet regular people doing regular things, as well as other travellers just like you.

Say "Kia ora" and chat to locals on the bus and find out all the best spots to visit. We’re a friendly bunch so don't be shy.

Pre-planned itinerary.

We’ve planned them but it’s up to you how far you travel each day. All national passes include the Interislander Ferry between Wellington and Picton.

Dedicated sightseeing.

A number of our regional and national passes include dedicated sightseeing day tours with GreatSights New Zealand and awesomeNZ. All tours include commentary and GPS operated multi lingual commentary.
