Does my pass include accommodation?

No. Travelpass™ gives you complete freedom to choose where you want to stay.

How long is a Travelpass valid for?

All Travelpasses™ are valid for 12 months from the date of activation. Activation occurs once travel has been booked against the pass.

How do I book my travel?

To book your travel please call our national contact centre toll free on 0800 33 99 66. Remember to have your pass number handy when you call. Alternatively you can book your travel with hundreds of retail agents nationwide, including the i-SITE Visitor network, YHA, BASE and Nomad Hostels. For a full list of retail agents see the main InterCity website.   

Can I change my departure dates?

Yes. You can make changes to your itinerary up to 2 hours prior to departure on all coach sectors. 

Can I book travel outside of my pass?

Yes! InterCity’s national network is bound to have a service that fits your travel plans. Just give us a call. Extra travel is at an additional cost.

Can I get off anywhere?

Yes. If you’ve found a place you like the look of, or a job for a few weeks, as long as it’s a registered stop within our network you can pause your pass anytime within the validity of the pass.

What's included in my pass?

Coach transport and commentary on selected services. All national passes include a one way journey on the Interislander ferry between Wellington and Picton. Meals, accommodation and optional activities are not included in your pass price.
